教学分析
The analysis of the teaching material 本单元的主题语境是“人与社会”，涉及的主题语境内容是体育运动和健康的生活方式。 What本版块呈现了一篇反应单元主题的课文，语篇类型为论说文，课文分析了足球在全世界流行的原因。课前的导入活动介绍了与足球相关的术语，帮助学生提前熟悉课文话题，为课文学习做铺垫。读中的活动考查学生快速查找具体信息的能力。第一段主要讲述了足球在全世界流行以及足球的历史，第二段通过主要讲述了足球流行的原因是只需要花少量的钱，也不需要昂贵的设备。第三段主要讲述了足球能带给人们快乐以及惊喜和反转。第四段主要讲述了足球能把全世界的人们团结在一起。第五段得出足球不仅仅是一项运动。读中活动通过归纳段落主旨大意、推断文章的写作目的、归纳文章的结构、赏析文章的语言特色以及主要信息考查学生对课文话题的理解。读后活动则是通过欣赏理解文章的标题、根据文章的结构复述文章大内容以及深入思考在中国像足球一样流行的活动以及探讨背后的原因，启发学生深入思考，增强对中国传统体育项目的自信。 How:通过理解文章的内容，学生可以推断文章的文体，这是一篇论说文文；通过分析文章中的细节信息，学生可以理清文章的写作手法，明白论说文证明自己的观点可以通过举例的方式加以证明；通过总结分析归纳文章的结构学习到论说文的写作方式，通常采用总分（总）结构，先提出观点，分析背后的原因，最后得出结论。学生通过了解足球盛行的原因，去关注现代以及传统的运动，增强对传统体育项目的认同感，并进而学会讲述自己关于体育运动的故事，深化对单元主题意义的理解和挖掘 。 Why:学习本文能帮助学生了解足球流行的原因，加深对不同文化的认识和理解，同时增强对中国传统文化的自信。并进一步学习了论说文的写作手法。根据文章的结构和关键词复述文章，学习体育运动常用表达，这些都为后面的写作作业奠定基础。讨论部分引导学生深入思考某项运动盛行的原因，旨在培养学生的运用和迁移能力。通过阅读能够激发学生学习英语的兴趣，提高学生的理解和表达能力，最终促进学生语言能力、文化意识、思维品质和学习能力的综合提升。
The analysis of the students 通过前面的starting out，学生已经初步常见的运动以及带给人们身心方面的好处。此外高一的学生学习态度大部分很认真，学习热情高，基本具备在阅读中获取细节信息的能力，部分学生能用英语自信流利地表达自己，但是多数学生在理解和整合知识、逻辑推理以及批判评价方面能力都比较欠缺。学生对体育运动有一定的了解，但对其背后盛行的原因不一定了解，因此更通过设置不同难度的阅读题让不同水平的学生都能积极的参与其中，从而梳理出文章的结构同时使他们理解足球的历史以及在全世界盛行的原因，从而引导学生关注自己的身心健康。
Teaching objectives: 根据新课标的基本理念：1.发展学生英语学科的核心素养，落实立德树人的根本任务；2.践行英语学习活动观，着力提高学生的学用能力，使其形成必要的语言能力、文化意识、思维品质和学习能力。结合本文的主题语境，特制定以下教学目标： 1. Know the benefits of sports and some basic facts about football and and get detailed information of the text. 2. Summarize the main idea of the text and figure out the structure of this text. 3. Analyse the author’s writing purpose and appreciate the language . 4.Apply what they have learned this lesson to describe a popular Chinese sport and admire the spirit of sports.
Teaching important points 1.Guide the Ss to find out main idea of the text and three reasons of football’s popularity.
2. Lead the students to figure out the structure of the text
