Example
Problem: I had a big fight with my best friend. We aren’t talking to each other now. I feel sad and lonely.
Okay, the problem is about a fight with a best friend. He feels sad and lonely.
That’s a common problem. I understand how they feel. It’s really upset to fight with a close friend.
Yeah. First, we need to think about why they fought. But since we don’t know, we should give general advice.
Right. So, what should we suggest How about trying to talk to her first
Good idea. But maybe they are too nervous to talk face-to-face. Why don't you send a message to say hello and that you miss her
I think that’s a good first step. Another idea is to say you’re sorry for your part in the argument, even if it wasn’t all your fault. This can help make things better.
And don't worry! Fights happen between friends. It's going to be okay. If she is your true best friend, she will want to make up too.
Okay, so let's choose our best suggestions for the presentation. We can say: First, send a friendly message. Second, apologize. Third, invite her to do something fun.
Yes, apologizing is important. You could also ask her to meet for ice cream or to play a game, like you used to. Doing a fun activity together can make it easier to talk.
Share your work
4d Present the problem and your suggestions to the class.
Step 4
The problem our group received is: “I find it hard to make friends.” Here are some of our suggestions for this friend. First, you can join a sports club. What Makes a Good Presentation

Look at your classmates.
Use the template and linking words.
Suggestions are kind and practical.
Hello, everyone. The problem our group received is: “I feel stressed because I have too much homework and I can’t sleep well.”
Here are our suggestions for this friend.
First, we think you should try to make a homework schedule. Plan your time for each subject and remember to include short breaks. This can help you feel more in control.
Second, talk to your teachers or parents about your feelings. Maybe they can help you find a better way to study or understand why you have so much work.
Finally, it’s very important to do some relaxing activities before bed, like reading a book or listening to quiet music, instead of playing on your phone. A good night's sleep will help you study better the next day.
We hope you feel less stressed soon!
Hi, everybody. We got a problem that says: “I don’t like my appearance. I’m not happy with how I look.”
We want to say to this friend: you are not alone. Many people feel this way sometimes.
Our first suggestion is: focus on the things you like about yourself, not just your looks. For example, are you a good friend Are you good at drawing, sports, or being kind These things are very important.
Another idea is: instead of focusing on what you don’t like, you can find a style that makes you feel confident. Maybe a new haircut or clothes you feel comfortable in.
Finally, limit the time you spend on social media. People often only show their best pictures online, which is not always real life.
Be confident! You are unique and amazing in your own way.
Good morning, class. The problem we are going to talk about is: “My parents and I argue a lot. They don't understand me.”
We have some ideas that might help.
First, try to choose a calm moment to talk to them. For example, during dinner. Tell them how you feel using “I feel...”sentences, like “I feel sad when we argue.”
Second, you could try to find a hobby that you can do together with your parents, like cooking or going for a walk. Spending positive time together can improve your relationship.
Last but not least, remember that your parents love you very much. Sometimes, they just worry about you. Try to listen to their opinions, too.
We believe better communication is the key!
