滑板：滑板项目是极限运动的鼻祖，许多极限项目均由滑板项目衍生而来。滑板运动起源于20世纪60年代初的美国，由海上冲浪运动演化而来。
棒球：人们对棒球的起源说法不一。早在古埃及，就有用棒和球进行的游戏。类似的游戏也出现在欧洲的许多国家。据《简明不列颠百科全书》记载：“棒球由英国移民传到美国，逐渐成为美国的‘国球’”。

蹴鞠：中国古代球类运动。蹴鞠起源于春秋战国时期，在汉代获得较大的发展，唐宋时期最为繁荣，从元明时期开始走向衰弱，清代主要在民间流行。蹴鞠对现代足球的产生具有重要的影响。
围棋：起源于中国，棋盘由纵横各19条线交叉组成，棋子为黑白两色，执黑子者先行。开局后，双方在棋盘的交叉点轮流下子，运用多种战术吃子和占地。终局时占地多者为胜。
冰嬉：又称“冰戏”，是我国古代北方人民的传统冰上嬉戏、游艺、技艺表演与竞技活动。
