Guinness World Records started in 1955. It covers achievements like the quickest marathon time or the biggest mosquito. Many records are fun. Many people around the world enjoy learning about these records.

Who set this Guinness World Record How did he make it
吉尼斯世界纪录起源于英国。1951年，当时吉尼斯啤酒厂的总经理休·比弗爵士正在参加一个狩猎聚会。他和聚会的主人就“欧洲哪种猎鸟飞得最快？”的问题产生了争论，他翻遍了所有的参考书都没有找到答案。1954年，休·比弗爵士回想起当年的争论，产生了创立吉尼斯世界纪录品牌的想法，并邀请孪生兄弟诺里斯·麦克沃特和罗斯·麦克沃特共同撰写一本记录事实和数据的书籍。同年11月，“吉尼斯世界之最”公司诞生。次年，第一本《吉尼斯世界纪录大全》出版。
