“That’s not nice!” said Mother Duck. “He’s still a duck like us!”
At the river, the ugly duckling swam well, just like all the other ducklings. But the other ducklings still laughed at him and told him to go away. It made the poor duckling very sad, so he decided
to search for a new home. He met many other birds, but all of them thought that he was ugly too. They did not want him to live with them.
One day, the duckling met a cat and a hen. “May I stay with you ” he asked hopefully. But the two animals said no. They did not like him because he could not purr or lay eggs!
Some days later, the ugly duckling came to a lake. There, he saw three beautiful swans with long necks and white feathers. “I wish I looked like you!” he cried. “My friend, you do look like us! Look in the water!” one of the swans said. The duckling looked down, and to his surprise, he saw that he was a beautiful white swan too!

We only like animals with special skills. You are welcome here only if you can purr or lay eggs.
You’re big and grey, but we’re small and yellow. You’re very ugly because you don’t look like us.
We want you to go away. You cannot live with us because you’re too ugly!
I’m not happy here. Is there a right place for me out there

Advice to the ugly duckling
Don’t give up hope, even when things seem hard. You may feel different now, but you are special in your own way. Keep looking for a place where you fit in, and one day you’ll find that others understand and accept you for who you are.
Advice to the five ducklings
Be kind to others, even if they look different from you. Being rude to others doesn't make you better. Instead, being friendly can make both you and others happier.
Can you give these characters any advice Share your ideas.
Advice to the other birds
Don't judge others by how they look. Get to know them, and you might find they are great in ways you didn't see at first.
Advice to the cat and the hen
Don't judge others based on what they can or cannot do. Not everyone looks or acts the same, but that's what makes the world interesting. Try to understand them and offer support when you can.
General advice
Remember, kindness and acceptance can go a long way. Treat others with respect, no matter how they look or act. Everyone deserves to be treated with love and understanding.

The Fisherman and the Genie
This is a classic story from The Arabian Nights (also known as One Thousand and One Nights), a collection of Middle Eastern folk tales. An old fisherman catches a jar in his net. He opens the jar and releases an angry genie. The genie explains how he has spent hundreds of years in the jar. For 100 years he vowed to help whoever set him free. But then he grew angry, and vowed to kill whoever freed him. However, the fisherman tricks the genie by saying he doesn't believe the genie could fit in the jar. The genie goes back in the jar and is trapped again.

Version 1
The fisherman was very scared. He asked, “Why Didn’t I set you free from the jar ”
“That's why I'm going to kill you!” said the genie angrily. “But I’ll let you say how you want to die.”
Then the fisherman took a deep breath and thought for a moment. He was not that frightened. He said: “Since I must die, I must. But before I die, answer me one question.”
“All right, but be quick.”
“Were you really in the jar You are so big and the jar is so small that it could hardly hold one of your feet.”
“Of course I was in the jar. Don't you believe me ”
“No, and I won’t until I see you in the jar with my own eyes.”
When he heard this, the genie changed again into smoke. Slowly the smoke went into the jar. When all of it was in the jar, the fisherman quickly put the lid on and threw it back to the sea.
Then the fisherman went back home without a single fish.
Version 2
The fisherman was very afraid, but he thought quickly. The genie was big and angry, but maybe not smart. Seeing a storm coming, the fisherman praised the genic, saying, “Wow, you are so big and strong. Can you change your size ” The proud genie happily said, “Of course! I am the strongest in the world!” The fisherman asked, “How big can you get ” The genie got bigger and bigger until he was as big as a mountain. However, he didn't notice the strong storm coming. The storm blew the genie away. The fisherman hid in his hut and watched. “He might be big and strong,” the fisherman said, “but he is too proud!”
