although 作从属连词,意为“虽然;尽管;然而”，引导让步状语从句，可放在主句前，也可放在主句后，相当于though，它们都不能和but连用,但可以与yet, still同时使用。
eg: ① Although/Though sleep is so important, many people these days are not
getting enough.
② He often helps me with my English, although/though he is quite busy.
③ Although the machine is old, it still runs well.
=The machine is old, but it still runs well.
until 的用法
until作连词,意为“直到......”,引导的时间状语从句。
用于肯定句，表示“直到......为止”，主句的谓语动词一般是延续性
动词,强调动作持续到某个时间点。
eg: ① She worked until 11：00.
② The little girl waited until her mother came back.
常见延续性动词: stay, wait, work, study, keep, be, sleep, read 等
until 的用法
until作连词,意为“直到......”,引导的时间状语从句。
用于否定句，表示“直到......才”，主句的谓语动词一般是非延续性
动词,强调主句的动作在从句的动作发生之后才开始。
eg: He didn’t leave until the rain stopped.
如果主句是一般将来时，从句要用一般现在时表示将来。
eg: He will stay here until the rain stops.
常见非延续性动词:start, begin, come, go, leave, arrive, open, close, finish 等
so that 的用法
引导目的状语从句,意为“以便，为了”，一般放在主句后，且不用
逗号隔开，相当于in order that，从句谓语中多含有can、could、may、
might等情态动词。
eg: The girl works harder so that she can get into a high school.
还可以引导结果状语从句，意为“因此，所以”。 此时从句谓语中
通常不含情态动词。
eg: He got up late, so that he missed the bus.
so...that... 意为“如此... 以至于... ”，常用来引导结果状语从句。
so ... that... 结构有时可与 too ... to...(太...而不能...)，not... enough to do...
(做某事不够...) 结构互换。
eg: The boy is so young that he cannot dress himself.
=The boy is too young to dress himself.
=The boy is not old enough to dress himself.
so……that…… 的用法
if 的用法
引导条件状语从句，意为 “如果, 假如”。
时态：主将从现，主情从现，主祈从现，主现从现 (描述客观事实、
自然规律、普遍真理或习惯性行为)。位置灵活: 从句在前，用逗号
隔开；从句在后，不用逗号。
eg: You will get good grades if you work hard.
You should study hard if you want to make your dream come true.
If you're happy, please clap your hands.
If the sun sets, it gets dark.
if 的用法
引导宾语从句，意为 “是否”，相当于 whether，常用于 ask, know,
wonder, want to know 等动词后，充当宾语。
eg: He asks if I like Journey to the West.
