教学重点 1.掌握动物单词的发音、拼写和词义。 2.熟练运用 “What are they ” 和 “They are/They’re + 名词复数” 进行对话。
教学难点 1. 准确理解和描述动物的特征，如 tigers are strong 等。 2. 引导学生在实际情境中灵活运用所学知识进行交流。

教学过程 Step1 :Warming up 播放歌曲 “Pandas, pandas”，让学生跟唱，同时展示歌词中提到的动物图片，引导学生观察并初步感知动物的英文表达。 Q：What’s the video about 【设计意图】 歌曲和视频能够吸引学生的注意力，激发他们的学习热情，使学生在轻松愉快的氛围中进入学习状态。 Step2 :Presentation-Get ready 1.Look and say. 通过剪影游戏学习动物单词教授新的动物单词：panda、elephant、bear、giraffe、monkey、tiger，让学生掌握单词的发音、拼写和词义。 2.Listen and chant. 3.Look, find and say. 教师展示教材图片，通过放大镜游戏，提问：“What are they ” 引导学生用 “They are...” 回答。通过多次练习，让学生熟悉句型结构和用法。 4.Pair work. 让学生两人一组，互相展示自己准备的动物图片，练习问答：“What are they ” “They are...”，教师巡视并给予指导和帮助。 【设计意图】: 多样化的教学手段（图片、卡片、实物）有助于学生从不同角度感知单词，加深记忆。直观的展示和动作表情辅助能更好地帮助学生理解词义。句型练习环节让学生在实际操作中巩固所学句型，提高语言运用能力。小组活动培养学生的合作学习能力，让学生在相互交流中进一步熟悉知识。 Step3 : Presentation-Start up 1.Read and answer. 学生阅读短文 “Tom's picture”，回答问题：“What animals does Tom draw ” “Are they tigers ” 等，引导学生在阅读中寻找关键信息，加深对短文内容的理解。 2.Read again and write. 再次阅读短文，让学生判断句子 “Tom's tigers are strong.” “Tom's elephants are big.” “Tom's giraffes are short.” “Tom's pandas are black and white.” 的正误，并说明理由。教师对学生的回答进行点评，帮助学生理解错误原因，巩固对动物特征的描述。 3.Read and think. 【设计意图】阅读练习能够训练学生的阅读技巧，提高学生获取信息的能力，同时加深对所学动物知识的理解和记忆。判断句子正误的活动可以让学生更加细致地分析短文内容，强化对动物特征的认识，培养学生的批判性思维。 Step4 : Production Work in pairs.
