教学目标 1. 能够读懂两则关于青少年创新发明的短文，了解发明者的创意及其在改善生活方面的作用。 2. 能够比较两次发明过程的异同，总结出发明源于生活需求，认识到创新源于生活观察和思考改进，增强探索精神与创新意识。 3. 能够模仿阅读内容，用英语简要介绍一个自己熟悉的实用发明，并说明其带来的便利或创新之处。 4. 能够运用把握大意、理解细节等阅读策略完成语言任务，并通过搜索更多发明创造、拓展阅读以增加知识储备等学习方法培养思辨能力，从而逐渐培养有计划、有反思的学习意识和习惯。

Pre-reading 3’ 1. T shows two pictures of the two inventions in the text. Ss guess their names and how they were invented. 通过图片预测阅读主题，引导学生学习相关词汇和背景知识。 猜测两个发明的名字和发明过程。
While-reading 15’ 2. T asks Ss to read the first passage and underline key information about who the inventor is, what was invented, and what problem it solved. 引导学生整体理解文本内容，获取基本事实信息。 学生能找出主要信息并用关键词概括发明内容。
3. T asks Ss to read the second passage and find out common features (similarities) between the two inventors, then complete a comparison chart on the blackboard. 通过对比阅读帮助学生理清两则事例的相似与不同，提高信息整理能力。 学生能准确填写表格并说出两位发明者的共同点与差异。

2. Ss discuss what kind of qualities or attitudes inventors need, such as observation and persistence. 引导学生由事实理解上升到思维层面，体会创新品质。 学生能提出具体品质并举例说明。

Fun time 10’ 1. T reads several words using different stresses and lets Ss follow the reading. 教师展示不同的重音发音，学生感知重音对单词发音的影响。 听教师朗读单词，说说重音不同对单词发音的作用。
Ss read the words individually and read in front of the class. Other students correct his or her pronunciation. 朗读操练，体会重音和单词音节。同伴互相纠正发音。 正确朗读单词，关注重音的位置。
