There is also a new shopping centre in my neighbourhood.
It’s only three blocks from my house.
It has a grocery store, a bank, a bookstore,
and a movie theatre. My mum and dad
shop at the grocery store.
Sometimes I go with them.
My favourite place in the neighbourhood is the bookstore.
I like to go there on weekends. It’s quiet and the chairs are
very comfortable. Sometimes I read for the whole afternoon.
My neighbours are kind and polite. It seems everyone enjoys a nice life here.

It is really comfortable and convenient. There is a big park in front of my house, so we can take in fresh air every day. I always cycle(骑自行车) in the park with my friends. There is also a grocery store next to the park. I often go shopping with my parents there. When I want to relax, I can go to watch a film in the movie theatre nearby. What’s more, there is a parking lot and a bank near the theatre. If I just want to have a quiet time, the bookstore next to my house is a nice choice. That’s my favourite place.
