词类活用是指某些词在特定的语言环境中用作另一类词,具有了另一类词的语义特征与语法特征。如本单元中出现的既可作名词又可作动词的词:

crash n.碰撞声,破裂声;碰撞;崩溃→crash v.碰撞,撞击;崩溃

名词用作动词是指一个名词在保持原有词形不变的情况下,活用为动词。名词用作动词,根据词义的变化,可以分为两种情况:
