The present continuous tense is a very useful tense in English. It is used to describe actions that are happening at the moment of speaking. For example, if you look out of the window and see a cat climbing a tree, you can say "The cat is climbing a tree now."
This tense also helps people share their current activities with others. When you chat with your friend online, you can say "I am doing my homework now" to let them know you are busy. To use this tense correctly, you need to remember its structure: am/is/are + verb-ing. For he, she, it, we use "is"; for I, we use "am"; for you, we, they, we use "are".
