Electricity is one of the most important inventions in the world. It runs our homes, offices, schools and hospitals. Without electricity, our life would be very different.
We use electricity for many things every day. We use it to light our rooms, cook food, heat water and watch TV. It also powers computers, which help us work and study. In hospitals, electricity keeps important machines working to save lives.
But we must use electricity safely. Never touch sockets with wet hands, and don’t leave appliances on when no one is using them. We should also save electricity.
