Great Changes in My Hometown
My hometown is a small city in the south of China. It has changed a lot in the past ten years. In the past, the roads were narrow and the traffic was terrible. People usually went out by bike or old bus. Most houses were small and low, and there were only a few small shops in the town.
Now great changes have taken place here. Wide and clean roads are everywhere, and high-speed trains connect our city with other places. Tall buildings and modern shopping malls stand on the streets. People live in big and comfortable houses, and many families have their own cars. People's life becomes richer and happier.
I'm really proud of these changes. I believe my hometown will become more and more beautiful in the future. I will study hard and make contributions to building my hometown better.
