1.单元概述
本单元的主题内容是:合理消费与节约意识。单元的各个板块介绍了常见的衣物和配饰,围绕如何根据实际需求确定购买的物品以及购物中如何询价展开,旨在帮助学生理解消费时需要区分“想要”和“需要”,购买物品时应综合考虑预算、价格、颜色、款式等多种因素,合理消费。学生通过本单元的学习,能根据实际需求提出合理的购买要求,礼貌地询价,适当考虑性价比并完成购买;能合理考虑不同人的喜好以及价格因素。
2.单元内容分析
本单元和第三单元围绕问题“How do people manage themselves?”展开,共同引导学生了解如何进行自我管理,探究如何在学习和生活中规划时间和进行合理消费。学生在三年级下册第六单元初步接触了如何进行议价以及在预算内合理使用零用钱。本单元是对这一话题的深人讨论。学生还将在五年级上册从学习与娱乐的平衡、良好习惯的养成等角度继续探讨如何进行自我管理,从而对“学习与生活的自我管理”主题群进行螺旋上升式的探究,逐渐深入理解自我管理在成长和生活中的重要作用。
本单元必学内容包括A部分和B部分。A部分主要包括谈论需要购置的物品的对话(Let's talk)、不同衣物名称的词汇(Let's learn)、有关字母组合ir、ur发音规则的歌谣(Let's spell)。B部分主要包括商店中购物的对话(Let's talk)、常见配饰的名称以及描述服饰的形容词(Let's learn)、阅读打折商品的海报和妈妈给Mike的留言条以及抄写、仿写句子的读写任务(Read and write)。选学内容C部分包括为校园歌唱比赛选择合适表演服装的项目活动(Project)、Ben为心仪的自行车努力攒钱的拓展阅读语篇(Reading time)以及单元学习结果自评(Self-check)。
3.语篇分析
语篇一呈现了Jack就想要购置新裤子征求妈妈的意见以及两人在商店挑选新裤子的情境,引导学生运用“My ...is/are too short/small.”描述不合身的衣物,运用“Can I buy…?”礼貌提出购买需求。
语篇二通过Sarah和刘佳在商场橱窗前谈论衣物的情境,呈现了生活中常见衣物的单词。该部分的导人句型为Let's talk学习过的“My...is/are too short/small.”,使词汇和对话板块建立了语言知识上的连接。学生在四年级上册第六单元已经学习了一部分衣物相关的词汇,本单元扩充学习了更多衣物类词汇进行个性化表达。

2.Why通过看图、阅读打折海报和Mike妈妈的留言条,提取海报中打折商品的信息,识别留言条中所列购物清单中服饰的数量、尺码及颜色信息,对比购物清单与打折海报,推测Mike在预算内可以购买的商品;了解购买商品时应综合考虑实际需求、预算、价格、颜色、欲式、尺码等多种因素,进行合理消费。

四、学情分析

知识储备:已掌握基础的服饰词汇:sunglasses, hat, shorts及百位数以内的数字表达,数学中已学习过租船问题,能够运用租船问题的相关知识,进行最优组合与搭配。
生活经验:学生在日常生活中大多有和家人购物的经历,熟悉“挑选商品、询问价格、讨价还价”等购物流程。对“省钱、促销、赠品”等概念有直观感受,部分学生已有自主支配零花钱的经验,能体会“预算”和“选择”的现实意义,这为理解“理性消费”主题提供了生活支撑。五、教学目标
1.能够通过阅读打折海报和留言条,提取和梳理海报中商品的打折信息和留言条中的购物信息,知道在购物时要综合考虑多种因素,理性选择,合理消费。
