教学目标
(一)语言能力 1.能够听、说、读、写掌握核心词汇:born, as, became, letter, spell, herself, all over, role model,并理解其在语境中的含义。 2.能够掌握并运用could/couldn't描述过去的能力,理解否定句中or的用法,能够识别并运用become-became, have-had, teach-taught, learn-learnt等不规则动词过去式。 3.能够读懂海伦 凯勒的生平语篇,获取并梳理出生、成长、学习、成就等关键信息,能够根据提示词复述海伦 凯勒的事迹。 (二)文化意识 1.了解海伦 凯勒的生平事迹,了解残障人士的奋斗故事,理解 "榜样" 的内涵。 2.能够关注身边的残障群体,增强社会包容心与责任感,体会 "坚持梦想" 的跨文化价值观。 (三)思维品质 1.能够通过时间线梳理海伦 凯勒的生平,培养逻辑梳理能力。 2.能够对比榜样人物的经历,分析人物的优秀品质,培养批判性思维与价值判断能力。 (四)学习能力 1.能够通过小组合作完成语篇阅读与任务探究,提升合作学习的能力。 能够自主梳理语篇中的关键信息,学会借助提示词完成语篇复述,掌握简单的阅读策略。
教学内容
教学重点:
1.核心词汇与could/couldn't句型的理解与运用。 2.读懂海伦 凯勒的生平语篇,获取关键信息。
教学难点:
1.否定句中or的用法理解与运用。 2.能够运用所学的过去式词汇与句型,完整复述人物的生平事迹。 3.将语篇中的精神内涵内化,联系自身形成正确的价值观。
教学过程
(一)热身导入:趣味猜谜,复习旧知(5 分钟) 1.Guessing Game
教师展示不同人物的剪影,引导学生用句型He/She could... / He/She couldn't...来描述人物的能力,猜测人物身份: 2.Free Talk
引导学生用句型I could... / I couldn't...来描述自己小时候的能力,借助词库辅助表达:speak, eat, drink, walk, jump, sing ,dance, play, run, cry, swim, read, climb 3.导入新课
教师过渡:"Just now we talked about our abilities in the past. Today we will meet a special woman. She couldn't see or hear, but she could do many great things. Who is she " 引出本节课的主角 ——Helen Keller。 设计意图:通过趣味猜谜激活学生已有的知识,复习could/couldn't的用法,同时自然过渡到本节课的主题,激发学生的学习兴趣。 (二)新知探究:分段阅读,解构语篇(15 分钟) 1. 初看视频,感知整体 教师播放海伦 凯勒的生平短视频,提问: What couldn't she do What could she do
引导学生初步感知:Helen couldn't see or hear. But she could read and talk.
同时讲解核心句型:在否定句中,我们用or来连接两个并列的否定内容,代替肯定句中的and,对比: 肯定句:She could read and write. 否定句:She couldn't see or hear. 2. 分段阅读,获取信息 将语篇分为 4 个部分,引导学生逐段阅读,解决问题,同时讲解核心词汇: Part 1:海伦的出生与变故 问题: When and where was Helen Keller born What couldn't she do Why 学生阅读后回答:Helen Keller was born in the US in 1880. 讲解词汇:born,固定搭配be born in表示 "出生于"。 继续引导:As a baby, she became blind and deaf. Because she had got a fever. 讲解词汇:as(当…… 时候)、became(become 的过去式,变成)、blind(失明的)、deaf(失聪的)。 Part 2:遇见老师,学习拼写 问题:How did she learn to read 学生回答:Helen had a teacher. She drew letters in Helen's hand and taught her to spell. 讲解词汇:letter(字母)、spell(拼写),以及不规则动词过去式:have-had, draw-drew, teach-taught。 Part 3:努力成长,成就自我 问题: 1. Later, what did she learn 2. What did she do 学生回答: 1.Later Helen learnt to read, write, and speak. 讲解:learn to do sth.(学习做某事),learn-learnt不规则过去式。 2.She wrote a book about herself and travelled all over the world. 讲解:herself(她自己)、all over the world(全世界),write-wrote不规则过去式。Part 4:榜样力量,精神传承 问题: 1.Helen lived to be . 2.Is Helen a role model for us 学生回答:She lived to be eighty-seven. She is a role model for blind people, and also for you and me. 讲解词汇:role model(榜样),引导学生思考:Why is she a role model 引导学生体会她永不放弃的精神。 设计意图:通过分段阅读的方式,降低长语篇的学习难度,让学生逐步获取信息,同时在语境中讲解词汇与语法,帮助学生在理解语篇的同时掌握语言知识。 (三)巩固操练:分层练习,内化知识(10 分钟) 1. 小组合作,朗读语篇 将学生分为 4 人小组,小组内分角色朗读语篇,之后邀请小组进行展示,教师纠正发音。 2. 填空练习,巩固基础 完成课件中的填空练习,巩固核心词汇: She couldn’t She could also . She learnt to . She is a for blind people. 3. 单项选择,突破难点 通过单项选择,巩固语法点,比如: ( )1.Helen Keller was in the US. A. bear B. born C. birth ( ) 2. a little boy, he can’t write. A. Is B. As C. Has ( )3.She is a role model blind people. A. for B. of C. to 设计意图:通过从读到练的分层操练,让学生逐步内化本节课的词汇与语法知识,夯实基础,同时通过小组活动调动学生的参与性。 (四)拓展延伸:联系生活,情感升华(7 分钟)1.身边的榜样
教师展示课件中的残奥运动员的事迹:单腿骑士梁贵华、领跑员与刘翠青、举重运动员谭玉娇等,引导学生用句型He/She can't... But he/she can...来描述这些榜样的事迹: Liang Guihua can't walk with two legs. But he can win the game. Tan Yujiao couldn't stand easily. But she can lift heavy weights. 2.我的榜样
引导学生讨论:Who is your role model What can you learn from him/her
引导学生分享自己的榜样,可以是家人、同学,也可以是名人,引导学生体会榜样的力量。 3.情感升华
教师总结:These people are great. They never give up. Nothing is impossible. As the saying goes: Keep your face to the sunshine and you cannot see the shadow. 引导学生记住:无论遇到什么困难,都要永不放弃。 设计意图:将语篇中的榜样延伸到现实生活中,让学生感受到榜样就在身边,同时深化情感教育,让学生将所学的精神内化于心。 (五)总结作业:梳理回顾,拓展输出(3 分钟) 1.课堂总结

Nothing is impossible. 九、教学反思 本节课以海伦 凯勒的故事为载体,将语言知识的学习与情感教育有机结合,学生在学习语言的同时,能够体会到永不放弃的精神,达成了育人的目标。分段阅读的方式有效降低了长语篇的学习难度,符合六年级学生的认知水平, 部分学生都能够梳理出语篇的关键信息。后续教学中,可以针对学困生设计更细致的复述提示,比如给出更明确的时间线提示,帮助他们完成语篇的输出,同时可以增加更多的口语表达的机会,让学生有更多的空间运用所学的句型。
