(1)此处make the world a better place是“make+复合宾语”结构,the world是宾语,名词短语a better place为宾语补足语。
(2)make后常可用名词、不带to的动词不定式、过去分词等作宾语补足语。动词不定式或宾语从句作宾语补足语时常用it作形式宾语,而将真正的宾语放到补足语之后。
(3)在使役动词let,make,have及感官动词(词组)feel,see,look at,watch,observe,hear,listen to等后跟不带to的动词不定式作宾语补足语,改为被动句时应加上to。
