(1)句中get more things done 是一个复合宾语结构,done和前面的宾语more things是逻辑上的动宾关系,且已经完成,用过去分词作宾语补足语。
(2)当宾语与其补足语之间为逻辑上的主谓关系时,应用get sb/sth to do结构

动词不定式作状语

(1)句中的To illustrate this为动词不定式作状语,表示目的。
(2)so as to do,in order to do也用以表示目的,相当于动词不定式,此二者用法基本相同,但so as to do一般不用于句首。
(3)动词不定式作状语也可用以表示结果,但常表示出乎意料的结果。而分词作状语表示原因、结果、时间、伴随状况、让步、条件等。
