Unit 3 Food matters
一、单元主题
单元主题:食物的重要性。
主题范畴:“人与自我”及“人与社会”范畴,涉及“身心健康”“跨文化沟通与交流”及“身份认同与文化自信”等。
二、单元教学目标
本单元学习后,学生能够为自己最喜爱的食物制作一个资料页:
运用所学词汇及表达谈论食物;
运用系动词描述最喜爱的食物;
阐述食物和人们生活之间的联系。
三、分课时教学设计
第一课时Starting out
1.课时教学目标
通过本课时学习,学生能够:
(1)运用本课时的核心词汇和句型谈论食物及各国的代表性食物;
(2)运用本课时的核心词汇和句型谈论最喜欢食物及给人带来的感受。
2.核心语言
核心词汇:delicious, look, taste, smell, be/come from, be good for, signature dish等。

运用本课时的核心词汇和句型谈论食物及各国的代表性食物。 运用本课时的核心词汇和句型谈论最喜欢食物及给人带来的感受。 Learning Objectives 学生在教师带领下阅读章首页图片下方的单元提示,了解本单元的学习内容和目标。 Warming-up 观看视频,让学生回答:What is the video about Lead-in 看完视频并回答问题:What food can you see in the video Where do they come from 让学生用be/come from句型介绍各国食物的国家。 Starting out (教材活动1) 1.学生观察食物图片,讨论对图中食物的了解。 2.学生匹配食物图片及其名称。 3.学生合作对话,表达自己最喜欢的食物并介绍。 A:What’s your favourite food B: I like to eat... best./My favourite food is... A: Where does/do it/they come from B: It come(s) from... . A: What does/do it/they look/smell/taste like B: It look(s)/smell(s)/taste(s)... . A: How does/do it/they make you feel B: It’s/They’re... ./It’s/They’re good for... . (教材活动2) 看图并说出图片上的美食; 回答问题:What is a signature dish 观看视频并回答问题:What foods are mentioned in the video Which countries are they from 思考问题:What do you think is China's signature dish 根据学生的回答情况,观察其能否参与互动和交流,主动分享对该主题已有的认知。 根据学生匹配的情况,评价其对不同食材词汇的认知情况。 通过对话形式,让学生介绍自己最喜欢的食物,评价其对食物的日常表达情况。
