Digital Dunhuang: a window into the past
Digital Dunhuang is an ongoing project. It shares the treasures of the Mogao Caves with people around the world through the internet.
The Mogao Caves include large cave temples, paintings and sculptures. They are not only art treasures from ancient China but also an important proof of the communication between different cultures along the ancient Silk Road.
Digital Dunhuang went online in 2016. It provides lots of information about some caves, including high-quality
three-D images and video tours. Thanks to
