Amy is writing about the dining hall plete her sentences with enough or too.
I don’t have enough books at home, so I often visit the community library. When I sit at the reading table, I keep my personal items tidy enough for others to use the shared space. A library requires a quiet atmosphere, so we shouldn’t make too much noise. If we have to answer a call, we mustn’t talk too loudly; our voice should be soft enough or low enough not to disturb others. When browsing books, we should handle them gently enough to help preserve them for future readers.
Write some sentences to discuss good manners in the library, using enough and too.
Read the text and pay attention to the use of enough to and too ... to.
Read and summarise
In many countries, people are patient enough to wait in line in banks and shops. Also, they are kind enough to hold the door for you when you go in or out of a building. In public places, people are polite enough to keep their voices down.
In many countries, people are too polite to jump the line in banks and shops. Also they are too kind to push past you when you are in their way. In public places, people are thoughtful enough to keep quiet.
We usually use enough to and too ... to like this:
be patient enough to wait in line
kind hold the door for you
polite keep their voices down
thoughtful keep quiet
be too polite to jump the line
kind push past you
Enough to means there is as much as needed, so something _____________ (can, cannot) happen. The word enough comes _____________ (before, after) an adjective.

cannot

In the structures above, we can add “for someone” before the to-infinitive.
e.g. The food is too hot for Robert to enjoy.
Summary
enough to和too…to的用法
“be + adj./adv. + enough to do 足够……
e.g. He is strong enough to lift the box.
She studies hard enough to pass the exam.
“be + too + adj./adv. + to do 太……
e.g. She is too weak to carry the bag.
It's too late to catch the early bus.
too…to形容词描述事物时,后可加for sb. + for sb.
e.g. The book is too hard for her to read.
The question is too easy for me to answer.
e.g. He is tall enough to reach the top.
He is too short to reach the top.
She is rich enough to buy the watch.
She is too poor to buy the watch.

The library is a place for study and research. It is important to be quiet enough to avoid disturbing others in the library. Some people talk too loudly, which makes it difficult for students to concentrate. Also, avoid making noise in the library. This can make it too difficult for people to focus on their work or studies. A library is a shared space, so we should all be respectful enough to clean up after ourselves.
