One year ago,i was a typical“night owl”.i stayed up late every night playing mobile phones or watching videos, and woke up late the next morning, often skipping breakfast.i thought it was just a personal habit, but soon i started to feel tired all day,and my grades began to drop.my biology teacher noticed my condition and talked to me about the human biological clock.
She told me that the human body has a natural clock that controls sleep, metabolism and other biological activities.staying up late breaks this clock, which not only causes tiredness but also damages the immune system and affects brain function.her words made me realize that i was hurting my body unconsciously.i decided to change my lifestyle and respect my biological clock.
At first,it was hard to fall asleep early.i tried many methods:Putting away my mobile phone an hour before bed, drinking a cup of warm milk, and doing some light stretching exercises.gradually,i got used to going to bed before 11 o’clock and waking up at 7 o’clock in the morning.i also started to eat a nutritious breakfast and do 20 minutes of exercise every day.
After a month, great changes happened to me.i no longer felt tired during the day,and my concentration in class improved a lot.my grades went up slowly, and i even felt my mood became more stable.this experience taught me a valuable lesson:The human body is a delicate biological system, and only by following its natural rules can we stay healthy and energetic.

In the 2025-2026 academic year, human biology research has entered a new era with the development of digital technology, artificial intelligence and gene editing technology. These advanced technologies have not only changed the way scientists study the human body but also made great breakthroughs in understanding human life activities and treating diseases.
Digital imaging technology, such as 3D CT and magnetic resonance imaging(MRI),allows scientists to observe the structure and activity of the human body in real time and with high precision. They can clearly see the changes of cells, tissues and organs in the human body, which helps them study the cause of diseases more accurately.AI technology is also widely used in human biology research—it can analyze a large amount of biological data in a short time, find the connection between genes and diseases, and even predict the risk of certain diseases for people.
Gene editing technology is one of the most important achievements in human biology research in recent years.Scientists can use this technology to modify defective genes that cause genetic diseases, which provides a new way to treat incurable genetic diseases such as cystic fibrosis and sickle cell anemia. However, gene editing technology also brings ethical problems—many experts worry that improper use of this technology may change human evolution and cause unknown risks.
In addition, digital technology has also promoted the popularization of human biology knowledge.Online courses, virtual biology labs and digital textbooks make it easier for people to learn about human body structure, healthy living and disease prevention.More and more young people are becoming interested in human biology and choosing it as their major in university.
Human biology research is still developing rapidly, and new technologies and new discoveries will continue to appear. While we enjoy the benefits brought by scientific progress,we should also keep a rational attitude and abide by ethical norms to ensure that human biology research serves human health and development.

My First Biology Experiment
I have always been interested in human biology, and my biggest wish is to do a real biology experiment in the lab.Last month,my biology teacher told us that we could do a small experiment about human blood cell observation in the school lab, which made me extremely excited.
On the day of the experiment,I prepared everything carefully:a microscope,a glass slide,a dropper and alcohol cotton. My teacher taught us how to take a small drop of blood from the finger and make a blood smear. At first,I was very nervous—I was afraid of pricking my finger and seeing blood. But with the teacher’s encouragement,I finally plucked up the courage to do it.
However, things didn’t go as smoothly as I expected. When I observed the blood smear under the microscope,I could only see a blurry image, and I couldn’t find the red blood cells and white blood cells at all.I tried again and again, but the result was still the same.Other students had already seen the clear cell structure and were talking excitedly.I felt upset and sat there quietly, wanting to give up.

Paragraph 1
Just then,my biology teacher came to me and patted me on the shoulder gently. She noticed my sadness and asked about the reason.I told her I failed to see the blood cells clearly though I had tried many times. She checked my microscope and found the lens wasn't adjusted properly. Then she taught me how to adjust the magnification step by step and told me to make a thinner blood smear. With her patient guidance,I prepared a new smear carefully and adjusted the microscope as she told me.
Paragraph 2
When I saw the clear red blood cells under the microscope,I was filled with excitement. The small red blood cells were floating in the field of vision, and I even found several white blood cells.I was so proud of what I had done and thanked my teacher sincerely. This experience not only let me master the skill of observing blood cells but also taught me that patience and carefulness are the keys to doing experiments well.It made me more passionate about human biology and I decided to do more biological experiments in my spare time.
