An example
The problem our group received is: “I find it hard to make friends.” Here are some of our suggestions for this friend.
First, you can join a sports club. If you are afraid to talk to others, you could focus on the sport first. You can work together with a team and get to know more people later.
Second, you could start small talks with your classmates or neighbors. For example, you can ask about their favorite subjects, hobbies or weekend plans. These easy questions won’t make you feel stressed, and they can help you find common interests with others.
Third, be kind and listen more. When someone talks to you, look at them and show you care. You can smile and nod, or say simple words like “That’s interesting!” People like to make friends with those who are friendly and good listeners.
Fourth, don’t be afraid to be yourself. You don’t need to change for others. True friends will like you for who you are. If you feel nervous at first, take it slow—making friends takes time.
The problem our group received is: “I’m facing school bullying and don’t know what to do.” Here are some of our suggestions for this friend.
First, you can talk to your teachers or parents at once. They are the people who love and care about you most, and they can give you help and protect you in time. Don’t keep the bullying to yourself, because hiding it will only make things worse.
Second, you could stay with your friends as much as possible. Bullys usually target people who are alone. When you are with your classmates or good friends, you can look after each other, and the bullys won’t dare to hurt you easily.
Third, you should be brave and say “no” to bullying loudly. If someone wants to bully you, don’t be afraid or run away. Let them know you won’t accept their bad behavior. Your courage will stop them from doing wrong things to you.
Fourth, you can keep a record of the bullying. Write down the time, place and what the bully did to you. If you have photos or voice messages, keep them well. These can be useful evidence when teachers or parents solve the problem.
Step 5
Vote for the student who makes the best presentation.

Hello, everyone! I'm Li Ming. I'd like to share my story of growing up.
Last year, I had difficulties in learning English. I couldn't remember new words and I was afraid to speak English in class.
However, I didn't give up. I made a plan to learn English. First, I spent more time remembering words by writing them down and reading them aloud every day. Then, I also joined an English club where I could speak English with other students. Finally, I watched English movies in my free time.
From this experience, I learned that when we face difficulties, we should be brave and find ways to solve them. Making a plan and working hard can really help. Now, I believe in myself and know that I can overcome any challenge.
