三、 阅读理解。(共10小题,每小题2分,满分20分)
A ★★
A study of 577,000 children from 42 countries shows girls get ill after
just two hours of watching screens like television, chatting or gaming
online. But because boys are more likely to be physically active, they can
safely spend twice as much time on screens each day before having health
problems.

Doctors say that depression(抑郁) is rising among Australian
children. The study also shows the need to balance screen time with “green
time” outdoors. Children who exercise or play outdoors are healthier and
happier.
Professor Asaduzzaman Khan said the study found boys were twice as
likely as girls to meet the health guidelines for physical activity of an hour a
day. He said 24 percent of boys spent an hour a day exercising, while 14
percent of girls did.

A dad from Melbourne, Tom Hindhauhh, said he had a three-zone
system for his thirteen-year-old son, Patrick: a “go zone” for time to
do schoolwork, a “slow zone” for time to play video games or chat with
friends online and a “no zone” when screens were turned off.
“We need those screens for home schooling. Technology is also a way
kids can communicate and hang out with each other,” he said. “We have
an hour or so for the slow zone and after that screens should be turned off.
We need to get children outside and moving. Physical activity is the key to
their health, whether it’s walking, riding a bike or playing balls.”

Professor Khan said spending too much time watching TV, gaming or
chatting online could lead to depression, an unhealthy diet and decreased
cognitive abilities(认知能力减弱). If you spend more time on screens,
you are unlikely to do well in your studies.

( C )1. Why are girls more likely to get sick than boys after two hours’
screen time according to the study?
A. Because girls are less strong than boys.
B. Because girls like more fast food than boys.
C. Because girls are less physically active than boys.
D. Because girls spend much more time on their schoolwork than boys.
C

( A )2. How long does the study advise boys and girls to do physical
activity each day?
A. For one hour. B. For two hours.
C. For three hours. D. For four hours.
( B )3. What could Patrick do at a “go zone”?
A. He could play outside.
B. He had to do his homework.
C. He could play video games.
D. He could talk with his friends.
A
B

( C )4. What might happen if a child spends too much time on screens
according to Professor Khan?
A. He may have a balanced diet.
B. He may become more outgoing.
C. He may perform poorly in school.
D. He may develop better cognitive skills.
C

( D )5. What is the best title for the passage?
A. How to balance screen time and physical activity
B. Differences between boys and girls in screen time
C. The dangers of too much screen time for children
D. Screen time, physical activity and children’s health
D

B[传统文化](2025 重庆改编) ★★★

Tea has long been a popular drink in China. Chinese people love
different kinds of tea. Among them, black tea and white tea from Fujian,
green tea from Zhejiang and Anhui, and dark tea from Yunnan are some of
the favorites.

In the Song Dynasty, tea culture reached new heights. The beauty of
the Song tea came alive through “dian cha”. Powdered(粉状的) tea
was whisked(搅打) with water into soft “clouds”. White tea was often
used to make the “clouds” as white as the moonlight. Tea artists used
clean water to draw pictures on them with a teaspoon. The way of serving
dian cha became a living art. It later influenced Japanese tea culture.
Today, more young people are learning it and passing it down.

Yunnan’s dark tea, especially Pu’er, got famous because of the
Ancient Tea Horse Road. And it won popularity around the world. In
1976, Frenchman Fred Kempler found a new kind of Pu’er from Yunnan in
a Hong Kong shop. In the same year, he visited Yunnan, bought nearly
two tons, and began to sell “Yunnan Tuocha” in Europe. Since 1986,
Yunnan’s Pu’er tuocha has got many prizes at food expos(博览会) in
France, America and other countries. Today you can see an old Australian
lady holding a cup of tea of sun-dried Pu’er, though she still enjoys her
English-style black tea with milk and sugar. Tea is a bridge of friendship
among nations and peoples.

Tea is enjoyed timelessly from ancient to modern times. Each cup of
dian cha, white as the moonlight, turned tea into art, and art into eternity
(永恒). Tea is also loved globally from the East to the West. Each cup of
Pu’er, with the smell of sunshine, turns tea into friendship, and
friendship into a shared future.

A study of 577 ,000 children from 42 countries shows girls get ill after just two hours of watching screens like television , chatting or gaming online. But because boys are more likely to be physically active , they can safely spend twice as much time on screens each day before having health problems.
Doctors say that depression(抑郁) is rising among Australian children. The study also shows the need to balance screen time with “green time ” outdoors. Children who exercise or play outdoors are healthier and happier.
Professor Asaduzzaman Khan said the study found boys were twice as likely as girls to meet the health guidelines for physical activity of an hour a day. He said 24 percent of boys spent an hour a day exercising , while 14 percent of girls did.
A dad from Melbourne , Tom Hindhauhh , said he had a three-zone system for his thirteen-year-old son , Patrick: a “go zone ” for time to do schoolwork , a “slow zone ” for time to play video games or chat with friends online and a “no zone ” when screens were turned off.
“We need those screens for home schooling. Technology is also a way kids can communicate and hang out with each other , ” he said. “We have an hour or so for the slow zone and after that screens should be turned off.
We need to get children outside and moving. Physical activity is the key to their health , whether it’s walking , riding a bike or playing balls. ”
Professor Khan said spending too much time watching TV , gaming or chatting online could lead to depression , an unhealthy diet and decreased cognitive abilities(认知能力减弱). If you spend more time on screens , you are unlikely to do well in your studies.

Tea has long been a popular drink in China. Chinese people love different kinds of tea. Among them , black tea and white tea from Fujian, green tea from Zhejiang and Anhui , and dark tea from Yunnan are some of the favorites.
In the Song Dynasty , tea culture reached new heights. The beauty of the Song tea came alive through “dian cha ”. Powdered(粉状的) tea was whisked(搅打) with water into soft “clouds ”. White tea was often used to make the “clouds ” as white as the moonlight. Tea artists used clean water to draw pictures on them with a teaspoon. The way of serving dian cha became a living art. It later influenced Japanese tea culture.
Today , more young people are learning it and passing it down.
Yunnan’s dark tea , especially Pu’er , got famous because of the Ancient Tea Horse Road. And it won popularity around the world.
