当两个音相邻时，其中一个音常常受另一个邻音的影响而变成与其邻音相同，或相似，或变成第三个音，这种变音现象叫作音的同化。例如：
Nice to meet you. /mi t ju/→ /mi t u/

音的同化（Assimilation）
