Warm-up And Revision 5’ T invites several Ss to display their writings (homework last time) and shows several world-famous paintings and asks Ss which type they prefer and why. 以视觉刺激激发学生兴趣，引导学生初步感知多样的艺术之美。 学生能积极参与讨论并用简短句表达个人喜好。
Pre-reading 5’ T introduces the two artists—Wang Ximeng and Pablo Picasso—with pictures of A Thousand Li of Rivers and Mountains and Guernica. Ss predict how each artwork might express beauty. 激活背景知识，帮助学生带着问题进入阅读。 学生能说出两位艺术家及其作品主题。
While-reading 18’ Ss read the first part of the text and underline sentences describing traditional Chinese landscape painting 引导学生关注关键信息，理解中国山水画表现美的方式与特点。 学生能准确找出并复述山水画的主要艺术特征。
2. Ss read the second part of the text and underline sentences about Picasso’s artworks, especially Guernica. 通过聚焦细节理解西方艺术中美的表现方式与创新精神。 学生能指出毕加索作品的艺术风格及其独特之处。

Post-reading 9’ 1. Ss discuss in groups, “What do these two artists want to express through their works ”, and share opinions with the class. 通过思考艺术背后的情感与思想，引导学生深化对美的文化理解。 学生能表达对作品内涵的个人理解，并倾听他人观点。
2. T summarises that beauty has many forms and is closely related to cultural values and human emotions. 强化主题升华，引导学生认识多样之美与文化共融，培养审美意识与文化自信。 学生能复述教师总结的要点，体会“尊重多元、和而不同”的审美理念。
Fun Time 5’ T shows four examples of intonation and reads for Ss, asking them to listen and try to tell where to use the falling tone. 给出范例，引导学生主动观察语用知识，总结出用法。 能分辨并尝试说出降调的位置。
Ss discuss in pairs and observe the examples, trying to conclude what kinds of sentences use falling tone. T listens and tells them the answer. 学生通过讨论、沟通，总结出使用降调的句型特征，培养其自主学习能力。 能尝试总结出使用降调的句型类别。
