二、学要点组织
为了避免行文时思路混乱,应学会合理组织要点,对文章的内容进行分类阐述。如Part B中的第一篇文章使用了小标题,从“What you need”及“What to do”两个角度将主体内容进行分层,使得结构清晰明了。
三、学衔接过渡
指导性说明文重在让读者明白操作的步骤,因此在表达时要灵活使用描述过程的衔接词,理清先后顺序。常用的顺序衔接词如Part C中提到的first/firstly/to begin with/to start with(首先)、in the end/finally/lastly (最后)、as soon as(一……就)、at the same time (同时)以及句式it is followed by .../the next step is ...(接下来/下一步……)。此外还有after that/afterwards (之后)、meanwhile (同时)、above all (最重要的是)等。
四、学细节描述
为了易于读者理解接受,此类文体应注重细节描写,内容尽可能详细具体,并结合适当的举例说明。如Part B的第二篇文章中将Procedures部分详细分为四步,从collect、select、arrange、stick四个角度进行具体描述。第一篇文章的Step 2中,则通过For example引出具体示例进行解释说明,让操作步骤变得形象具体、易于理解。
