3.句式结构:
(2)含有实义动词的一般过去时:
一般疑问句:Did + 主语 + 动词原形+其他
肯定回答用“Yes, 主语 + did.”;否定回答用“No, 主语 + didn't.”
——Did you clean your room this morning 你今天早上打扫房间了吗?
——Yes, I did.是的,我打扫了。/ No, I didn't.不,我没打扫。
特殊疑问句:疑问词 + did + 主语 + 动词原形 + 其他
What did you do last weekend 你上周末做了什么?
Where did they go for their holiday 他们去哪里度假了?
一般过去时
4.基本用法:
(1)表示过去某个时间或某一段时间内发生的动作或存在的状态,常和表示过去的时间状语连用。
一段时间 + ago、yesterday、yesterday morning/afternoon、last night/week/
month/year、the day before yesterday (前天)、in + 过去的时间 (in 2024)等。
I finished my homework an hour ago.我一小时前完成了作业。
We visited the museum yesterday afternoon.我们昨天下午参观了博物馆。
They had a picnic the day before yesterday.他们前天去野餐了。

表示主语过去的特征或性格
At that time she was very good at English. 那时她英语学得很好。
一般过去时有时可以表示现在,多与want, hope, wonder, think, intend 等动词连用,使语气更委婉
I wondered if you could help me. 不知你能不能帮我一下。
有时用一般过去时也是时态一致的需要
I didn’t know you were here. 没想到你在这里。

一般过去时——动词过去式变化
系动词be 的过去式有两种形式:
was(am和is的过去式) 和were(are的过去式)
实义动词的过去时分规则动词的过去时和不规则动词的过去时的两种。
规则动词的过去时变化规则:
(1) 一般在动词后加-ed:offer—offered, weigh—weighed,
(2) 在以字母e结尾的动词后,只加-d:provide—provided, hate—hated
(3) 在以“辅音字母+y”结尾的动词后,则改y为i,再加ed:supply—supplied, fly—flied
(4) 在以单短元音的重读闭音节结尾且末尾只有一个辅音字母的动词后,双写最后一个辅音字母,
再加-ed:refer—referred, regret—regretted
