What do you know about the present continuous tense
表示现在(说话时)正在进行的动作或存在的状态。
现在进行时的意义
(1)表示现在(说话时)正在进行的动作或存在的状态。例如：
e.g. The students are listening to the teacher.
学生们正在听老师讲课。
He is sleeping now.
Present Continuous Tense
表示现在(说话时)正在进行的动作或存在的状态。也可表示当前一段时间或现阶段正在进行的动作或存在的状态。
他现在正在睡觉。
(2)也可表示当前一段时间或现阶段正在进行的动作或存在的状态。
例如：
e.g. We are working on a farm these days. 这些天我们在农场工作。
I’m reading a history book this month.
这个月我在读一本历史书。
现在进行时的构成
现在进行时是由助动词 be (am /is /are) 加动词-ing形式构成的。以动词work为例，现在进行时的肯定式、否定式、疑问式和简略答语如下。
