Nile River is the longest river in the world. It is about 6,650 kilometers long and runs through 11 countries in northeastern Africa, like Egypt and Sudan. For thousands of years, it has given people water and good soil for farming, so it is very important for life in this area.

The Yangtze River is the longest river in Asia and the third longest in the world. It runs about 6,300 kilometers through China, starting from the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and flowing into the East China Sea. It plays an important role in Chinese history, culture, transportation and agriculture.

The Yellow River is the second longest river in China and the "mother river" of Chinese civilization. It is famous for its yellow silt from the Loess Plateau. It runs about 5,464 kilometers across northern China and empties into the Bohai Sea.
