  别把烦恼锁起来 It is necessary to share your feelings with others. Sharing your feelings helps you to get closer to people you care about and those who care about you.
  Sometimes it can be really hard not to tell anyone that you’re feeling sad, worried, or upset. Don’t keep feelings locked inside. If that, it can even make you feel sick!

导图记语法 3 从属连词全解析(although,until,if,sothat) Grammar Focus (4a-4d)
  连词是用来连接单词、短语或句子的虚词,在句中不单独作任何成分,但大多数连词有词汇意义。连词在句中往往不需要重读。根据性质和意义,连词可以分为并列连词和从属连词。本单元我们学习从属连词中的although、until、if和so that。从属连词用于表述事情发生的条件、让步、目的、结果、原因、地点或时间,连接复合句中的主句和从句。
从属连词 用法 示例
1.although 表对比、 让步 although引导与主句形成对比或转折的情况,不能与but连用。even though与although意思相近,但前者在口语中使用更频繁。 Although/Even though I got up early, I was late for work.虽然我起得很早,但我上班还是迟到了。 Although I’ve done it before, I found the run very difficult.虽然我以前做过,但我发现跑步很困难。
2.until 引导时间状语从句 (1)用于肯定句,表示主句的动作一直延续到until所表示的时间为止。(此时可与till互换,且主句中的谓语动词要用延续性动词。) Owen stayed up until his mother came home last night.欧文昨晚一直熬夜到他妈妈回家。
(2)用于否定句,构成not…until结构,意为“直到……才……”,表示主句的动作直到until所表示的时间才发生。(此时可与till互换,且主句的谓语动词为非延续性动词。) My father won’t leave until the rain stops.直到雨停,我父亲才会离开。
(3)如果until位于句首,则不能与till互换。 Until he finished the homework, Kevin didn’t go to bed.直到做完作业,凯文才上床睡觉。
3.so that 表目的、 结果 so that引导目的状语从句和结果状语从句。引导目的状语从句时,从句中常用may,can,will等情态动词,口语中有时也可省略that。
拓展:(1)in order to与so that意思相近,但后跟动词原形。 He called the company in order to complain.他打电话给公司投诉。 (2)so…that…是关联连词,意为“如此……以至于……”,其中that引导结果状语从句。 Their city is so small that we can’t find it on the map.他们的城市太小了,我们在地图上找不到它。
4.if表条 件、假设 if引导主语从句、宾语从句、表语从句等名词性从句,表达否定意义,不作句子成分
