开头 引出故事，引起读者兴趣。它可以通过设置场景、介绍主要人物、提出问或制造悬念等方式来开启故事，为下文的展开做铺垫。 背景信息(如时间、地点、人物的身份和处境等)、引发事件(促使故事开始的事件)主题暗示（提示故事主题方向）（开端）
主体 详细地叙述事件的发展过程。一般按照事件发展的时间顺序、空间顺序或者逻辑顺序展开情节，展示人物的行为、思想和情感变化等诸多细节。 事件的发展过程(一系列的动作、事件的冲突和变化)、人物描写(外貌、性格、心理活动等)、对话、细节描写(环境细节、动作细节等，以增强故事的生动性)(发展与高潮)。
结尾 对故事进行总结或升华。它可以通过解决问题、揭示主题、表达情感或者留下思考等方式来结束故事。 事件的结果(问题的解决、目标的达成)、主题的明确(对故事主题的直接陈述或强化)、情感的表达(如快乐悲伤等、经历的感悟。

解题方法---遵循三个步骤

第二步 利用前后信息 推断正确选项 在把握文章主旨的基础上注意以下4点: (1)利用空前、空后的信息，结合常识，分析句中、句间以及段落之间的逻辑关系(因果，转折对比，并列，递进，让步，解释等），从而推断出正确选项。 (2)解题过程中还可利用语篇衔接手段，词语的同现、复现、指代等。 (3)有时会根据动宾、动介的习惯搭配，以及固定句式等解题。 (4)要遵循先易后难的原则，语篇层次的题，其答案信息可能在后几句或后一段，甚至在文尾。
第三步 代入原文 验证答案 将所选答案代入空格，通读全文，看补充完整后的短文是否语言通顺、前后连贯、结构完整。这一步既可验证答案，又可解决个别难题。
