1.[教材原句] It was the first time Helen had understood such a complex word—a word for something she couldn’t touch.

(1)It’s the first time (that)...表示“这是第一次……”。It可用This/That代替,first可用其他序数词代替。
(2)该句式中的that从句中常用完成时态。主句为一般现在时,从句常用现在完成时;主句为一般过去时,从句常用过去完成时。
