Born in Germany in 1770, Beethoven started his musical training at the age of 5. Because he was talented in music, Beethoven was pushed by his father to study music day and night.Not long after, he was appreciated for his piano performances .
However,life took a sharp turn.In his late twenties,
he started to lose his hearing.Although he was
affected by the hearing loss,he was determined to find a way to continue music.
Once Symphony No. 9 was first performed in 1824, it was considered a great work. Beethoven is also regarded as one of the most remarkable musicians because he was devoted to music and determined to fight with fate in his darkest days.

John Denver and Taylor Swift are the representatives of country music. Deeply rooted in American culture(深深地根植于美国文化), country music originated from the folk music of the Southern United States. It evolved in the 1920s and become popular in the 1940s. Known for its narrative storytelling（以它的故事叙述而出名）, country music often features personal stories of love, loss, and everyday life. Among all classic songs, I love the Butterfly Lovers most.Everytime I heard this song, I just feel so moved.
Based on a Chinese legend about the young couple torn apart by their families, it is referred to as a famous musical piece in posed by He Zhanhao and Chen Gang in 1958, Butterfly Lovers now combines Chinese and Western musical elements.
Though played on Western instruments such as the violin, the music mostly has its roots in Chinese Yue Opera. This unique combination and the theme about love, freedom as well as the hope for the better life has made me realize that music is indeed a universal language. You should definitely listen to Butterfly Lovers—I bet you’ll like it!
