定语从句
Q1: What is an attribute(什么是定语)
定语:用来修饰、限定、说明名词或代词的品质与特征。
1) slim girls; big school; strange things
2)women teachers;English books
3)two students; his desk
4) the girl in red; a book about history
5)They must be athletes who are masters in their sports.
形容词作定语
名词作定语
数词、代词作定语
介词短语作后置定语
句子作定语
1.定语主要有形容词,名词,介词短语,非谓语,句子;常译为“……的”
2.在所修饰词之前的定语叫前置定语,在所修饰词之后的定语叫后置定语。
3. 单个的词作定语时要放于被修饰词的前面,短语或从句作定语时要放于被修饰词的后面。

Q3: What is an attributive clause(什么是定语从句)
修饰名词或代词的句子叫做定语从句。定语从句一般紧跟在所修饰的名词或代词之后。
Mary is a girl who has long hair.
This is the classroom where we study.
先行词
关系词
先行词:被定语从句修饰的名词或代词叫作先行词。
关系词:引导定语从句的词叫做关系词。分为关系代词和关系副词。
结构:先行词+关系词+定语从句
