三、阅读理解(共30分)
Making new friends isn’t easy. It can be difficult to think of what to talk about, so we often choose safe topics like the weather or food. These conversations are polite, but often seem meaningless and can’t develop a real friendship. So, is there a way to feel close to someone much faster
Research shows that asking deep and thought-provoking (引人深思的) questions can build strong connections more quickly. This idea first came from the studies in the late 1990s. In these studies, researchers asked some strangers to talk about personal topics such as, “What is a perfect day like for you ” or “What’s the most important gift for you ” After talking for 45 minutes, these people said they felt surprisingly close, and some even kept in contact after the studies ended.
Then in 2024, researchers in the Netherlands had a special thought: Can this way also work to improve the relationships between parents and their children During their studies, parents asked their children deeper and more meaningful questions such as “What do you think of our family ” or “When was the last time you felt alone ” Also, before and after the talks, these children answered some simple questions about how they felt. Even after just nine minutes of talking, these children felt their connections with their parents got stronger.
Psychologists (心理学家) say asking deep questions helps us build connections with others because it encourages self-disclosure (自我表露). When we open up and share our own thoughts, this creates feelings of closeness.
Maybe building a close relationship with someone doesn’t always take years. Sometimes, it can start in just a few minutes.

Cooking easy food is another important skill. When our parents are busy or not at home, we can still look after ourselves well. We can start with simple dishes like fried eggs or tomato and egg soup.

66.范文:
Everyone may feel upset or lonely sometimes. Last week, my friend Tom had a hard time, and I tried my best to help him.
Tom felt sad because he had fought with his best friend, Jack. Jack said some bad words on purpose, so Tom was angry and lonely. He was afraid to talk to others about it.
When I knew this, I listened to him patiently. I advised him to talk with Jack and understand his feelings. Later, I went with Tom to find Jack. Tom said sorry for his anger, and Jack apologized for his words.
From this experience, I learned that it’s important to help friends with their feelings. A little care and advice can help a lot. Working together with friends can solve problems more easily.
