时事热点AI相关话题-完形填空高频考点
I’m delighted to be here at the Royal Society to give this speech.
Now, I’m 1 about the power of technology to make life better for everyone. 2 , the easy speech for me to give would be to tell you about the incredible opportunities before us.
Just this morning, I was at Moorfields Eye Hospital. They’ re using AI to build a model that can look at a single picture of your eyes, and not only diagnose (诊断) blindness, but also 3 heart attacks, strokes(中风) or Parkinson’s(帕金森病). And that’s just the 4 .
I do believe that technologies like AI will 5 a change as far-reaching as the industrial revolution, the coming of electricity or the 6 of the Internet. As with every one of those waves of technology, AI will bring new knowledge, new opportunities for economic (经济的) growth, new advances in human capability (能力) and the chance to solve problems that we once thought beyond us. But, like those 7 , it also brings new dangers and new fears.
So, the responsible thing for me to do—the 8 speech for me to make—is to face those 9 head-on, giving you the peace of mind that we will keep you safe while making sure you and your children have all the opportunities for a better future that AI 10 bring.
Doing the right thing, not the easy thing, means being 11 with people about the risks from these technologies. So, I won’t hide them from you. That’s why today, for the first time, we’ve taken the highly unusual step of 12 our analysis on the risks of AI. These reports provide a serious warning. Get this wrong, 13 AI could make it easier to build chemical or biological weapons.
Criminals could use AI to spread fear and destruction on an even further scale. They could use AI 14 cyberattacks (网络攻击), disinformation, fraud (欺诈) or even child sexual abuse (性侵害). And in the most unlikely but extreme cases, there is even the risk that humanity could 15 AI completely through the kind of AI sometimes referred to as “super intelligence”. So, while embracing AI’s potential, we must also be aware of the very real dangers it presents.
