Ben and Tim are good friends. They used to exercise a lot together. They ran after school. They played sports outdoors.
But now Tim watches too many videos on his phone and plays lots of computer games. And he is putting on weight. Ben worries about Tim. He sends his friend a poem:

Language points
used to do sth.过去常常做某事；曾经做某事（现在不做）
used to do后接动词原形，描述过去习惯。
例：She used to play badminton after school.
她过去放学后常打羽毛球。
拓展：
be used to doing：习惯于做...... 后接动名词，描述现在状态。
例：He is used to exercising every day.（他习惯每天锻炼。）
be used to do：被用来做...... 被动语态，描述物品用途。
例： Wood is used to make paper.（木头被用来造纸。）

put on weight：增加体重、长胖
反义词：lose weight 减肥
put on的多种含义：
穿上；戴上

Don’t be a couch potato all day.

主要指那些成天躺在或坐在沙发上看电视的人，即极为懒惰的人或电视迷。
all day：整天（时间状语）
例：She reads books all day.（她整天看书。）
