Grammar：It as an empty object
当不定式、动词-ing形式或从句作宾语时，为了保持句子平衡，常用it作形式宾语，而将真正的宾语移至句子的后面。
【“6123”结构】
“6”指的是常用的6个动词：think，believe，make，find，consider，feel；
“1”指的是形式宾语it；
“2”指的是宾补的两种形式：形容词或名词；
“3”指的是真正宾语的三种形式：不定式短语、动名词短语或that引导的宾语从句。
代替不定式短语作形式宾语
动词 ＋ it ＋ 形容词／名词 ＋ to do sth／that宾语从句。
make it a point to do sth特意/坚持做某事
make it a rule to do sth 规定做某事
① They considered it important (have) the work done on time.
② We make a rule/point that we should visit the old every weekend.
③ We feel our duty to make our country a better place.
2．代替动名词短语作形式宾语常用于以下句型中：
动词＋it ＋worth/ no good/no use/useless/hard work/ a waste of time（money/energy）+doing sth
① I think it worth (help) them on agricultural development.
② He thought it no use (try) to convince them.
3．代替宾语从句作形式宾语
(1) appreciate/hate/dislike/love/like/enjoy + it + if/when从句
① I would appreciate it you can consider my application.
② She hates when he shows off his wealth.她讨厌他炫耀他的财富。
(2) 动词＋it＋介词短语＋that 宾语从句
owe it to sb. / sth. that ... 把……归功于……，欠...某物
take it for granted that... 认为……是理所当然的
bring it to people's attention that 引起大家对某事的注意
see to + it + that从句 确保
depend on + it + that从句 指望
look to + it + that从句 指望
answer for + it + that从句 回答
insist on + it + that从句 坚持
stick to + it + that从句 坚持
