The country’s rich culture, with its great educational system, has made it a popular place for international students. For me, I chose China mainly because of the strong friendship between Pakistan and China. I was sure I could get the feeling just like home.
I studied at Shandong University and the first few months there were quite challenging for me because of the language. But the people there were kind and helped me a lot. Then I noticed how much Chinese people value education. Students work hard, and schools offer well-designed courses, which shows the high quality of the education system. When I had free time, I liked to explore places of interest in China. Each place carries a deep sense of history.
After I finished my studies, I got a job as a teacher in Shandong. Teachers and school leaders were nice to me. Teaching has allowed me to understand Chinese culture more deeply. Recently, I joined a school speaking competition about the Yellow River and I even won the third prize.

While doormats (门垫) help clean shoes, many people believe it is wrong to wear shoes indoors. They argue that leaving shoes at the door keeps homes clean and shows respect. Others, however, find this unnecessary or even impolite. So, should shoes be allowed inside
In a recent discussion, 40% of readers supported wearing shoes indoors. They reason that if people clean their feet properly, it should be acceptable. Shoes protect feet from possible dangers inside the house, such as hard toys or furniture. Some guests may feel uncomfortable if asked to take off their shoes, especially if they are worried about their smelly or ugly socks. Furthermore, pets walk indoors without any cover or shoes, which can carry just as much dirt (灰尘). Some studies even suggest that walking barefoot (光脚) and getting small amounts of dust are good for our health. On the other hand, many point out that outdoor shoes bring in more than just dirt. One study found that 96% of shoes carry outside dirt which is probably dangerous.
Stepping inside provides a perfect chance to kick off heavy shoes. In countries like China, taking off shoes at the door shows care for the home and the deep value of family in their culture. It not only helps keep homes clean but also creates a warm and respectful feeling that many people enjoy. Perhaps there is more to get than to lose by leaving our shoes at the door.
63.Why do people think it’s fine to wear shoes indoors
A.Because shoes can help keep the home cleaner.
B.Because shoes protect feet from hard objects.
C.Because walking barefoot brings in dirt.
D.Because doormats could make the shoes clean.
64.What can we learn from the pet example in paragraph 2
A.Pets are cleaner than people. B.People can’t keep pets indoors.
C.People should wear shoes to protect pets. D.Pets bring almost as much dirt as shoes.

A.He doesn’t care about it. B.He believes it is a good and polite habit.
C.He thinks it is unnecessary and impolite. D.He doesn’t show a clear opinion about it.

Nowadays, if we’re going to have a haircut or visit a new restaurant, we may check online before making a decision. But what happens if some of those reviews can’t be trusted
The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) recently said it was planning new steps to strictly deal with fake (虚假的) reviews used to mislead customers. The commission (委员会) published a plan that would not allow companies to write or sell fake reviews, buy positive reviews and more. Research shows most people heavily depend on online reviews, but humans are also bad at telling which reviews make sense and which are wrong. Nearly one in every three reviews is fake, according to one study.
In 2022, the commission forced the online store Fashion Nova to pay $4.2 million because it stopped negative reviews from being posted on its website. For its part, Fashion Nova told The New York Times that the FTC said these were “not true” and said it agreed to avoid “wasting time and high law-related costs.” People have 60 days to comment on the suggested plan after it is published in the Federal Register, and then the FTC will decide if it will make changes and publish the final form. This will make it easier for people to trust the reviews they see online.
They hope more rules like this can be made to protect buyers and sellers in the future.
70.What does the FTC plan to do
A.To deal with fake reviews. B.To help write more reviews.
C.To make online products popular. D.To stop people from reading reviews.

We met at the school gate at 8:00 in the morning and were divided into three groups. Group One was responsible for cleaning the classrooms. Group Two went to the nearby park to pick up plastic bottles and other rubbish. I was in Group Three. We walked along the main street and cleaned the sidewalks. Many local people saw us working and gave us thumbs-up. They were very thankful for what we did. Although we were all tired, we felt very happy. 例文:
Artificial Intelligence is changing our lives in many ways. I’d like to share how AI helps me in daily life.
One big advantage of AI is that it makes many tasks easier. AI helps me a lot with my studies. When I meet difficult math problems, I use AI apps to get answers and explanations. For fun, AI recommends movies and music I might like. When I travel, AI maps help me find the best way to my destination.
In my opinion, AI is a useful tool. We should use it wisely and not depend on it too much.
