副词(或短语)作状语
E.g.Quietly, she folded the letter and steadied her breath.(她悄声叠好信,平稳了呼吸。)
Eventually, he turned back, pride cooling into reflection.(最终他回头,骄矜冷却为反思。
时间状语
E.g.At that instant, gratitude rose and overflowed.(就在那一刻,感激满溢。)
Minutes later, my parents walked in with stormy faces.(几分钟后,父母带着风暴一般的表情走进来。)
形容词(或形短语)作状语
E.g.Determined yet trembling, she inched toward the truth.(坚定却颤抖,她一点点靠近真相。)
Speechless and stunned, he stood like a marker in the rain.(他无语愣立雨中,如一根路标。)
介词短语作状语
E.g. At the thought of parting, a heaviness settled on her chest.(一想到分别,胸口就沉了下去。)
In a voice that shook, she explained the winter ahead.(她声音发颤,讲起即将到来的寒冬。)
连词先行
E.g.Even if she was tired, joy lifted her like a tide when we returned.(即使很累,我们归来仍让喜悦把她托举。)

无灵主语+动作链+情感描写/语言描写/修辞/场景描写
无灵主语
1.A(n)look/expression of +情感名词 + flashed through/spread across/crossed one's
E.g.The expression of merriment on the girl's face flashed through my mind, urging me to ride faster.(女孩脸上喜悦的表情一直闪过我的脑海,催促我骑得更快。)
2.A wave/urge/sense of +情感名词 + seized/overwhelmed/took hold of/washed over/flooded over/swept over/flowed over/came over sb.
E.g. Fear washed over me as I thought of the possibility of miserably failing on the way.(在路上当我想到有可能会惨败时,一阵恐惧袭来。)
3.情感名词 + welled up in/inside/within sb.
E.g.Sympathy welled up inside me as my mother told me what happened to the little girl. (当妈妈告诉我这个小女孩发生了什么事时,我内心充满了同情。)
4.A(slight)feeling/sense of +情感名词 + crept upon/over sb.
E.g.A sense of guilt crept upon me, and tears of sorrow welled up in my eyes. (我渐渐感到一股内疚,眼中泛起悲伤的泪水。)
5.(表高兴、激动的)情感名词 + was shining/twinkling/sparkling in one's eyes
E.g.While the old man enjoyed the beauty of the day, satisfaction was twinkling in his eyes. (当老人享受着这美好的一天时,他眼中闪烁着满足的光芒。)
6.情感名词(Fear/Terror/Panic/Surprise/Shock/Embarrassment 等) + rooted sb. to the spot/ground
E.g.Surprise rooted me to the ground when I saw my mother walk through the door, leaving me speechless. (当我看到妈妈走进门时,我惊讶得呆住了,说不出话。)
7.表情感的名词A + gave way to/was swept away by/ was replaced by +表情感的名词B
E.g.His initial excitement was replaced by a deep sense of disappointment. (他最初的兴奋被深深的失望所取代。)
8.one's heart pounded/thumped/raced/beat wildly(heavily)with +表情感的名词
E.g. Lotus' heart pounded with guilt, and tears sprang to her eyes. (Lotus的心因内疚而怦怦直跳,泪水夺眶而出。)
9.one's face lit up/brightened up when
E.g. His face lit up when he saw me and he gave me an engaging smile. (当他看到我时,他的脸亮了起来,给了我一个迷人的微笑。)
10.the sight/thought of sth. filled/overwhelmed sb. with +情感名词
E.g. The thought of working nights filled me with hopeless horror. (一想到要夜间工作我就觉得惨兮兮的。)
动作描写
1.三连动作链:sb. + did A, did B and did C
E.g.Ben also ran in my direction, gathered me into his arms, and kept patting my back. (Ben 也朝我这个方向跑过来,把我拥入怀里,不停地轻轻拍着我的后背。)
(1)主语 did A,非谓语动词 B and 非谓语动词 C
(2)主语 did A and B,非谓语动词 C
(3)非谓语动词 A,主语 did B + did C
E.g.Tears blurred my eyes for a long time and finally overflowed, streaming down my face. (眼泪让我的视线变得模糊,最后涌出,沿着我的脸滑落下来。)
Thinking of the mess I deliberately made under the bed, I hurried to my bed and bent down to take a look. (想到我故意把床下面弄得一团糟,我赶紧走到床边,弯下腰看了看。)
3.主语 did,with 复合结构[with + 名词/代词 + 非谓语动词/介词短语/形容词/副词]
E.g.He stormed to the room with his heart beating wildly and his face flushing red. (他冲向房间,心怦怦直跳,满脸通红。)
4.主语+did,独立主格[逻辑主语 + 非谓语动词/介词短语/形容词/副词]
E.g.Perspiration pouring from my forehead, tiredness swallowed me entirely. (汗水从我额头上涌出,疲劳感完全吞噬了我。)
Time standing still, everyone stared at the ball flying through the air, holding their breath. (时间静止了,每个人都盯着空中飞舞的球,屏住呼吸。)
修辞
1.比喻式:as + 形容词 + as (a/an)...
E.g.Jack sprinted for the finish line as swift as an arrow, leaving all the competitors behind. Jack (敏捷得像箭一样,快速冲向终点,把所有参赛者抛在了后面。)
All my classmates were as busy as bees, eagerly engaged in the preparation for the performance. (班里的所有同学都忙得不可开交,热情投入到表演的准备中。)
形容人
as pleased/delighted/cheerful/joyful as a flying bird 高兴得像一只飞翔的小鸟
as angry/mad/furious as a raging storm 愤怒得像狂风暴雨
as anxious as an ant on a hot pan 急得像热锅上的蚂蚁
as busy as a bee 忙得团团转
形容事物
as bright as daylight 如日光般明亮/灿烂
as easy as a piece of cake 轻而易举
as dazzling/shining as diamonds 像钻石般闪耀
as gentle as a breeze 像微风一样温柔
比喻式:特定动词短语 + 表情绪的名词,sb. did sth. like/as if...
常见特定动词短语有: filled with 充满, falling into 陷入, drowned in 沉浸在, seized/struck by 被……侵袭, overwhelmed with/by 充溢着, consumed by 被……吞噬
E.g.Seized by terror and despair, David began to shake uncontrollably like being electrified. 被恐惧和绝望所困,David 开始像触电一样无法控制地颤抖.
比喻式:表情绪的名词 + 特定动词短语 + sb. like...
常见特定动词短语有: wash over 升感, take hold of 控制, sweep over 突然袭来, surge through 使强烈地感到, flood over 涌上心头
E.g. Fear swept over him like cold, dark sea water. (恐惧像冰冷、黑暗的海水向他袭来。)
4.比喻式:sb. did sth. as if/though + 虚拟语气
E.g.Having arrived at school in a hurry, Archie looked very untidy, as though he hadn't slept well last night. (Archie 匆匆赶到学校,看上去很邋遢,好像昨晚没睡好。)
语言描写
1.对话 + sb. + 各种各样的“说” + voice(声音)/副词/tone(语气)
E.g.She said in a sweet voice, “Go to your seat.” (她用甜美的声音说:“到你的座位上去。”)
2.对话 + sb. + 各种各样的“说” + facial expression(表情)/表示情感的短语或非谓语动词
E.g. “Is it true ” he whispered in astonishment. (“是真的吗?”他惊讶地低声说。)
3.对话 + sb. + 各种各样的“说” + body language(肢体语言)
E.g.She murmured, stroking his hair, “Don't worry. You'll be all right.”( 她抚摸着他的头发,喃喃道:“别担心.你会没事的。”)
4.对话 + sb. + 各种各样的“说” + thought(想法)
E.g.“Time to go,” I whispered to the girl, wishing she could follow me right away. (“该走了.”我低声对女孩说,希望她能马上跟我走。)
场景描写
E.g.From the window, rivers curled like script, mountains rose like folded fans.(车窗外,河流像行书蜿蜒,山峦如折扇层叠。)
We sat in a hush so deep that even dust could be heard landing—until a whistle cleaved the air.(我们静得连尘埃落地都听得见,直到一声哨响劈开空气。)
Ⅲ高效结尾
首尾呯应
1.(Whenever/When) Looking back on/Thinking of + the experience/the journey/ + 名词/主人公 + always/still...
E.g.And now, when looking back on that experience, Edun still feels that it was that experience that transformed her into a nature - loving being. (现在,当回顾那段经历时,Edun 仍然觉得正是那段经历把她变成了一个热爱自然的人。)
2.衔接语,(形容词 + ) 无灵主语 + sounded/echoed/rang/lingered ( + in one's ears/head/mind/... )
E.g.Since then, my father's plain but encouraging words have always echoed in my mind, guiding the way of my life. (从那时起,父亲那些平淡却鼓励的话就一直在我的脑海中回响,指引着我的人生道路。)
主题升华
1.Seeing sth., sb. felt as if it had been doing and saying...
E.g.Seeing the suitcase, Arthur felt as if it had been praising him, “You did a great job! ” (看到手提箱,Arthur 觉得它好像一直在称赞他:“干得好!”)
2.But for/Without sth., sb./sth. would (not) have done/be...
E.g.Without the laughter and joy we shared, my memories would be a dull and colorless canvas. (如果没有我们共享欢笑和快乐,我的记忆将会是一幅乏味且无色的画布。)
3.Just then, a(n) old/famous saying/sb.’s words flashed through/echoed in one’s mind
E.g.Just then, the old saying “perseverance leads to victory” flashed through my mind. (就在这时,那句老话“坚持就是胜利”闪过我的脑海。)
结尾留白
(衔接语,)主语 + 动作...,非谓语/定语从句
E.g.On the way back home, I checked the precious pictures in the camera, lost in thought. (在回家的路上,我看着相机里珍贵的照片,陷入了沉思。)
