No two snowflakes (雪花) are the same. They have different shapes and fall in four different ways. By watching how they “dance”, we can learn the weather conditions (状况).

How they dance: What’s the weather like
Fall in a line: They fall slowly. Zigzag (之字形路线): They shake a little back and forth (前后). Snowflakes dancing like this may melt and become rain.

Hundreds of pedestrians (行人) in Tianjin have been punished so far this year for looking at their mobile phones while crossing the road. The regulation (规定) says that pedestrians who look at their mobile phones while crossing the road first receive a warning or a fine of 50 yuan if they refuse to correct their behaviour.
“The warning is not a simple reminder. It is a legal (合法的) way with a legal punishment notice given to the pedestrians, ” Xing Yi, an official of the government, said. “Those who refuse to cooperate with the traffic police or whose behaviour harms other people will be fined 50 yuan. ”
Zhou Xin works in a busy area in Tianjin. He says that he gives such punishment three to five times each day, and that most of the time the legal warning is useful.
“More and more people look at their mobile phones while crossing roads, which raises the risk of traffic accidents,” said Yang Yingjun, another official of the government. “The regulation is trying to make people pay more attention to safety when they walk.”
Yang said that in 2019, a local university student who was looking at his mobile phone while crossing a road was hit and killed by a large truck. Similar accidents have been reported in many cities, such as Taizhou and Wenzhou, so those cities have similar regulations.

The marathon is in “E-town”. There will be 12,000 people and over 20 robots from different countries competing in it. Participating robots must have a human-like appearance and walk or run on two legs. Wheels are not allowed. Humans and robots will use separate lanes (专用道) to avoid accidents.

Ge Jinyuan enjoys talking during lunch and dinner with her meal “dazi”. “We are both crazy about delicious food so we always share our views on the canteen food and look for some other fine food,” said Ge. “If my meal “dazi” doesn’t go to school some day, I’ll be sad for the rest of the day,” her “dazi”, Li Xin, added. “She is outgoing, so am I. That’s why we are always together.”
What’s more, having a “dazi” may bring some unexpected (意想不到的) results. “Once, my game “dazi and I made a mistake when playing a game, but we worked together to correct it. By this, I find that I have a better understanding of teamwork!” Shi said.

范文:
Dear Sandy,
My hometown Yangzhou is a beautiful place with a long history and rich culture. There are many interesting things to see and do here. You can visit the Yangzhou Museum to learn about its past or take a walk around Slender West Lake, which is famous for its lovely scenery.
I live in a small apartment near the city center. My favorite thing to do is cycling along the ancient streets and trying local snacks like Yangzhou fried rice. The people in my neighborhood are very kind. Once, when I forgot my keys, my neighbor helped me call a locksmith.
One special thing about Yangzhou is its traditional handicraft—lacquerware. It is made by painting layers of lacquer on wood or bamboo, creating beautiful patterns. This craft has been passed down for centuries and shows the skill of Chinese artists.I hope you can visit Yangzhou one day and experience its culture yourself!
Yours,
Daniel
