教学目标
学生在完成本课学习后，能够： 通过略读、寻读和精读，概括文章每段大意，辨识文本类型，并回答问题链中的细节性问题，思考《寂静的春天》一书所传递的信息； 通过梳理主观和客观因素，总结《寂静的春天》一书成功背后的原因，并阐述其对社会的启示； 通过分析颁奖词的语言特点，表达并分享自己对Rachel Carson个人美好品质的理解，进一步思考《寂静的春天》一书所产生的社会影响，阐明人类活动对自然环境的影响，提高保护大自然的意识。

Activity 6: Read and analyze the excerpt from the award speech for Carson. -Ss read the excerpt from the award speech for Carson, share words that impress them most and give the reasons.
