Focus on Grammar
1. because：意为 ，后面跟说明原因，表示的是必然的因果关系，语气最强。because通常用来回答why提出的问题。
Eg. —Why was he late —Because he missed the bus.
2. so：意为 ，起承上启下、顺接的作用。
Eg. I heard some noise outside, so I went out of the room.
3. as a result: 意为 .
Eg. He didn't study for the exam(考试）, as a result, he failed(失败).
because和so 不能同时出现在一个句子中。

相同点：意义相同，都意为因为，表示因果关系中的原因。
不同点：because of 为介词短语后接名词性成分，because为连词后接完整从句。
例如：She succeeded because of hard work.
