Why is the Yellow River called “mother river”
提示:已知的华夏文明起源知识。
关键词提示词:farming, culture, history…
The Yellow River is called the “mother river” because it’s very important to China’s past and culture. First, it watered the fields, helping early Chinese people grow crops easily—and this helped farming develop well. Second, it gave birth to early Chinese culture, like old traditions and stories that people passed down. Third, much of China’s long history began along the river; ancient civilizations grew strong there. It nurtured Chinese farming, culture and history like a mother nurtures her children, so it is called the “mother river”.
