自我归纳
通过比较,我们可以得出:现在进行时可表(1)将来,常含有“意图”“安排”或“打算”的含义,并且可与表将来的时间状语连用。在一定的上下文语境中,(2)时间状语也可以不用。
现在进行时的具体用法如下:
1.常表最近或较近的将来,所用动词多是位移动词。但偶尔也表示较远的将来。
I'm meeting you after class.课后我来找你。
What are you doing next Sunday?下星期天你打算干什么?
When I grow up,I am joining the army.我长大了要参军。
2.表将来的现在进行时有时含有“决心”的意思。
I'm not waiting any longer.我不再等待了。
I'm backing out.我要打退堂鼓了。
Don't forget:you are taking part too.不要忘记:你也要参加。
3.现在进行时也可在时间、条件或原因状语从句中表示将来。
When you are passing my way,please drop in.你什么时候路过我们家,请进来坐坐。(时间状语从句)
If they are not doing it,what am I to do?如果他们不干,那我该怎么办?(条件状语从句)
4.不是所有的动词都可以用进行时表将来,只有表示具有位置移动意义的动词及少部分其他意义的动词才可以用进行时表将来。常见动词如下:arrive,begin,come,die,go,leave,end,return,start,travel,fly,stop,close,drive,fall,remain,stay,move,land.leave...for,take off,see...off 等。
Hurry up.The plane is taking off soon.快点,飞机马上就要起飞了。
He's coming here next week.他下周要来。
“He is dying,doctor.You must save him!”cried the young woman.“他快要不行了,医生,你必须救救他!”那个年轻女人哭叫着。
其他表示将来时的形式:
1.be going to结构也可表示将来,表示即将发生的事或不久将要发生的事,常与表示将来的时间状语连用。
I am going to sell this old car,and buy a new one.我打算卖了这辆旧车,买一辆新的。
注意:There be句型的be going to结构为There is/are going to be...(注意be不能改为have),常用来表示将有某事发生。
下个星期六在我校将有一场足球比赛。
[正]There is going to be a football match next Saturday in our school.
[误]There is going to have a football match next Saturday in our school.
2.be about to侧重于表达最近的将来,意为“即将……;就要……(=be on the point of doing sth...或be going to加上just),且be about to不与具体的时间状语连用.但可以和when引导的时间状语从句连用,be going to可以接时间状语。
She is about to go out when her mum comes.就在她要外出的时候,妈妈来了。
我就要走了。
[误]I am about to go next week.
[正]I am about to go.
3.will没有“计划;准备”的意思,且在有条件从句的主句中,一般不用be going to,而多用will。
If any beast comes at you,I will stay with you and help you.如果有野兽扑向你,我将和你在一起并且帮助你。
4.be+动词不定式(即be+to do)表示按计划或安排要做的事。
When are you to leave for home?你什么时候回家?
5.一般现在时表将来,指按规定安排好、预定要发生的事情或用在时间、条件状语从句中表将来。
School begins the day after tomorrow.学校后天开学。
I will go to see her as soon as I get to Shanghai.我一到上海就去看她。
