look + 形容词,构成系表结构,look 是感官系动词,意为 “看起来”,同类词:sound(听起来)、smell(闻起来)、taste(尝起来)、feel(摸起来 / 感觉)。worried 为形容词,意为 “焦虑的,担忧的”。

everybody是单数 。虽然它意为“大家”,但语法上强调每个个体,因此被视为单数,谓语动词需用单数形式。
everybody 主要用于 肯定句 ,表示“每个人”或“所有人”,强调整体。
(1) 肯定句 :这是 everybody 最常见、最标准的使用场景。
Everyone should follow the rules.每个人都应该遵守规则。
(2) 否定句 : everybody 本身 不直接用于表达全盘否定 。若需否定,通常用 not everybody ,此时表示 部分否定 (即“并非每个人”),而非完全否定。
Not everybody likes pizza. 并不是每个人都喜欢披萨。

although作从属连词,意为“尽管;然而”,引导让步状语从句,可放在主句前,也可放在主句后,相当于though,它们都不能和but连用。
1.although的用法
Though/Although it was raining, we still went hiking.
He often helps me with my English, although/though he is quite busy.
until作连词,意为“直到……为止”,引导时间状语从句,
①主句是肯定句时,其谓语动词用延续性动词,强调主句的动作或状态一直持续到从句的动作发生时为止,译成“直到……为止”。
I’ll stay here until you come back.
我会待在这里,直到你回来。
2.until的用法
常见延续性动词:stay, wait, work, study, keep, be, sleep, read 等
She waited until all the students left.
My daughter studied English until 9 o’clock last night.
It’s raining too hard outside. We won’t leave ______ the rain stops.

②主句是否定句时,其谓语动词用非延续性动词,强调主句的动作在从句的动作发生之后才开始,一般译成“直到……才……”。

常见非延续性动词:start, begin, come, go, leave, arrive, open, close, finish 等

3.如果主句是一般将来时,从句要用一般现在时表示将来。
He will stay here until the rain stops.
The meeting won’t start until everyone arrives.
4.如果将“not until…”放在句首,那么主句要用部分倒装结构。
Not until he finished his homework did he go to bed.
Not until you talk to him will you know how he feels.
I gave you a map so that (=in order that) you wouldn’t get lost. 我给你一张地图以免你迷路。

=The boy is not old enough to dress himself.
so that 还可引导结果状语从句,意为“因此,所以”。 此时从句谓语中通常不含情态动词。
so...that... 如此……以致于……常用来引导结果状语从句
4.If的用法

引导条件状语从句(adverbial clause of condition)
If you did or said something wrong, you should say sorry.
主句在前,从句在后,中间没有逗号.
从句在前,主句在后,中间有逗号。
If it doesn’t rain tomorrow,we will go hiking.
We will go hiking if it doesn’t rain tomorrow.
1).主将从现:
主句用一般将来时,从句用一般现在时。
结构:If + 一般现在时,主句 + 一般将来时。
If it rains, we will stay at home.
=We will stay at home if it rains.
2)主情从现:
主句用一般将来时,从句用情态动词。
结构:If + 一般现在时,主句 +情态动词may, might, can, must, should等的句子。
You should study hard if you want to make your dream come true.
=If you want to make your dream come true,you should study hard
3)主祈从现:
主句用一般将来时,从句用祈使句
结构:If + 一般现在时,主句 +祈使句。
Please clap your hands if you're happy
=If you're happy, please clap your hands.
4)主现从现:
描述客观事实、自然规律、普遍真理或习惯性行为。
结构:If + 一般现在时,主句 + 一般现在时。
If you heat water to 100°C, it boils.
If the sun sets, it gets dark.

My Best Mother
In my life, many people have helped and influenced me a lot. My mother is my role model. I admire her very much.
My mother is responsible and careful. Although she is busy with her work, she takes good care of our family. What’s more, She does a lot for me when I am upset. Once I failed a singing competition and felt very upset.
