My English Learning
I started learning English in primary school. At that time, English was a very interesting subject for me. I was eager to learn new words and sentences, and I was always looking forward to the English classes.
However, as I entered junior high school, I found that English learning became more difficult. Grammar was a big challenge for me. I often made mistakes in verb tenses and sentence structures. For example, I couldn't distinguish between the present perfect tense and the past simple tense clearly, which made my writing and speaking not so accurate.
To overcome this difficulty, I took several measures. Firstly, I bought a grammar book and studied it carefully. I read each rule and example many times until I could understand them. Secondly, I did a lot of grammar exercises. I practiced different types of questions to strengthen my understanding and application of grammar. Thirdly, I watched English movies and TV shows with subtitles. This helped me to get a better sense of how native speakers use grammar in real life situations.
In addition to dealing with grammar, I also know some other helpful ways to learn English well. Reading English books and articles is a very good method. It can expand my vocabulary and improve my reading comprehension skills. I usually choose some simple English novels or short stories to start with, and then gradually move on to more difficult materials. Another way is to communicate with others in English. I often participate in English corners or talk with my classmates in English during breaks. This gives me more opportunities to practice speaking and listening.
In conclusion, English learning is a long and continuous process. Although there are difficulties along the way, as long as we have a positive attitude and use effective learning methods, we can make progress and improve our English level.
