Unit 5 Here and Now
本单元以“此时此地的生活”（Here and Now）为主题，与课标要求的“人与社会”主题范畴中的“人际交往；跨文化沟通与交流；文化习俗与节日庆祝活动；身份认同与文化自信”子主题，以及“人与自然”主题范畴中的“地理位置（时区）”子主题密切相关。写作任务是写一篇有关人们正在做的事情的短文（如描述公园、街道商场、家庭聚会等公共场所中不同人物的活动）。写作时建议采用“总—分—总”结构：开头交代时间、地点、天气或整体氛围；中间分述2-4组不同人物正在进行的活动；结尾总结感受或场景氛围。
语法与句型要点
时态：全文使用现在进行时，现在进行时语言结构：am/is/are + 动词-ing。
肯定句结构：主语 + am/is/are + 动词-ing
否定句结构：主语 + am/is/are + not + 动词-ing
特殊疑问句结构：What + am/is/are + 主语 + 动词-ing
动词现在分词变化规则：
一般情况直接加-ing：do →doing
以不发音的 e 结尾，去 e 加 -ing：ride → riding
重读闭音节结尾， 双写末尾字母加 -ing：run → running
