Li Shizhen was a famous medical expert in ancient China (Ming Dynasty). He wrote a very important book called Bencao Gangmu, which recorded many kinds of herbs and medicines. His work helped a lot in traditional Chinese medicine.

Charles Darwin was a British scientist. He is famous for the theory of evolution. He said that animals and plants change slowly over time, and only the ones that can adapt to nature survive. He wrote a famous book called On the Origin of Species《物种起源》.
Wang Zhenyi was a scientist from the Qing Dynasty in China. She loved studying the stars and math. She did experiments to explain how solar and lunar eclipses（日食和月食）happen and wrote about them.
