The Natural Wonder I Want to Visit Most
The natural wonder I want to visit most is the Great Barrier Reef in Australia. I first saw it in a documentary, and I thought it was like an underwater fairy tale world.
I want to go there for two main reasons. First, I really want to see the colorful coral (珊瑚) and the millions of beautiful fish swimming around. It must be amazing to snorkel there and see them up close. Second, I want to learn more about how to protect it. I know the reef is in danger because the ocean is getting warmer. I hope that by seeing it, I can better understand why we need to save it.
Visiting the Great Barrier Reef is my dream. I hope one day I can stand on the beach there and see this wonder with my own eyes.2025~2026学年下学期八年级英语单元训练

The weight turns the old snow into hard, blue ice. Scientists can learn about the past 14 studying this ice. They take out long tubes of ice, called ice cores (冰芯). 15 ice cores, they can tell what the weather was like long ago.
However, many glaciers are 16 a big problem. Because the Earth is getting warmer, they are melting (融化) faster than before. This is 17 for two reasons. First, it will cause the sea level to 18 . Second, animals like polar bears that live on the ice will lose their homes.
